The album is a stripped back album in every aspect; from the music to the creative.
It’s a solo project from Dan and will be released under the ‘Bastille Presents’ umbrella. Lyrically, the album draws from the stories of interesting individuals and characters throughout history. The creative of the album is designed to evoke a hand crafted and analogue feel.
Dan speaks on the album – “I wanted to make a beautiful collection of story songs - using the lives of interesting people - to speak to life, my life, and human experiences. This collection of tracks sounds intimate, organic and different to what people maybe expect, and I'm hugely proud of it as a body of work.”
